YOUR FAMILY MONEY MATTERS
All of my programs are the result of over 15 years of experience working with people and money. I’ve worked with people across the wealth spectrum, facing a variety of financial stressors.
Working with individuals, couples, and families experiencing a wide range of money-related distress has equipped me to know how to work with complex and dynamic family situations and psychological issues.
I am here to share all that I have learned and continue to learn about how to help people have a healthy relationship with themselves, their partner and money.
FROM FIRE FIGHTER TO FINANCIAL THERAPIST
In 2010 a brief conversation in the break room changed everything for me. Amanda said I am going to be a counselor. I asked what’s that? She told me they help people with personal problems.
I was intrigued, I had been working at Vanguard Mutual Funds for a few years and I was growing bored. What compares to running into burning buildings as a firefighter. I know, becoming a marriage counselor that helps couples with money fights. It’s like running into a burning building without the actual fire.
I love helping people in intense situations.

The Family Money Tree
So your tired of fighting about money. Experience tells me they started in your family. Take a journey back in time and discover the roots of your money fights. Like that time you stole candy at 6 years old from the store and your mom made you take it back. It left you feeling so embarrassed. Or all those times you heard your dad ream your mom for spending too much. Leaving you uncertain and scared about why he was so upset. Maybe these aren't your stories, I know there are many defining moments with money that leave their mark. Your job is to remember them and make peace with them. Yes this is true for your partner as well. We all have a money story to tell. Which in time can reduce the fighting about money.
