With the guidance of a expert

financial planner and marriage and family therapist.

Every couple hopes their marriage will bring lifelong happiness, connection and financial stability.

Before you got married, you probably dreamt of a beautiful relationship—someone with whom you could weather storms, celebrate joys, and go on adventures.

You likely sought a fun, compatible sexual partner. A best friend, and perhaps someone to start a family with.

Maybe you dreamt of having a spouse who would help your savings grow and also join in on spending for fun, guilt-free.

You definitely didn't dream of money issues in your marriage.

Or maybe you did but thought they would work themselves out.

Now that you've been together a while you're running into financial roadblocks. One of you is a spender and the other is a saver. One (or both) of you have money baggage and unhelpful patterns surrounding money. One of you is the primary breadwinner, making the other the secondary earner, albeit no less important.

Regardless of your individual situation, conversations about money are heated and stressful. The money issues in your relationship have become to much to bear.

You might even be worried that love isn't enough to get you through this storm.

  • Make plans to pay off debt, buy a home, create a college fund, or take an expensive vacation.
  • Heal money patterns or stories that no longer serve you.
  • Stop thinking you're heading to divorce because you argue about money constantly.

  • Improve your relationship (and your sex life)
  • Empathically understand your partner's financial decisions while still being able to voice your point of view.

I know you can do it - because my wife and I did all of those things and more. Now it's your turn.

Were you led to believe...

  • Talking about money was rude or "bad"?
  • The man should be the primary earner?
  • You don't deserve wealth?
  • Having too much money is shameful?

Yeah, me too.

But talking about your finances doesn't have to be this shameful, taboo thing.

In fact, when you healthily talk about money with your partner, you develop a stronger connection.

I know because I've done it! (And I didn't come from an affluent family with no money baggage).

Hi, I'm Ed, a Certified Financial Planner, Licensed Therapist, and Specialist in Financial Therapy.

I am also a happily married man. I have loved my wife for the past 17 years, but there was a time when our relationship was so fraught with money issues, I thought we might not make it.

I created the course I wish I'd had when I first got married.

You don't have to do all the tedious research, earn three graduate degrees, become a CFP®, or do 8,000+ therapy hours for other people, because I have done all of that for you.

When I was 19 years old, I wanted to get married, buy a house, start a family, and become a professional firefighter. Growing up in a hard working, blue collar family, I wasn't expected to go to college - any respectable career would do.

I privately dreamed of one day owning a Lexus, taking trips to Hawaii, and having a beautiful wife to share my life with.

At 20, I bought my first home. A 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranch house in Houston, Texas. I was very proud of this first financial achievement - I had made it! I was a homeowner!

Three years into my firefighting career, I met a gorgeous dental student - my now wife. She had come from a more affluent family than mine - was well-educated, hardworking, and driven.

When we fell in love, we were the picture of happiness. I didn't yet have my Lexus, but I knew we were well on our way to financial stability. I assumed (innocently and naively) that we wouldn't face the financial stresses my parents had with their differences in money management. I assumed we wouldn't argue about spending vs. saving. Our love was above all that.

How very wrong I was.

I didn't yet see the ways that money would put stress on my fairytale relationship. I didn't know that arguments about spending priorities, saving plans and investments, and long-term financial goals would cause communication breakdowns, lessen our sexual intimacy, and create a power imbalance in our relationship.

When our first son was born, I was not the primary breadwinner of the family. Money issues my buddies weren't facing in their marriages began to surface. Yet I didn't have anyone to talk to about this.

Little did I know that financial and relationship success were not things I could just tick off a box. Marriage and money management are things that I need to actively work on with my spouse, every single day.

Determined to improve our financial well-being and our relationship, I went back to school to ultimately earn three graduate degrees, and become a certified financial planner and licensed therapist.

Using a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach, I now guide couples toward having tough discussions about money that have serious payoff.

Perhaps you're concerned this won't work.

This course is for you if you're ready to...

  • Unpack unhealthy beliefs you have about money.
  •  Analyze your financial situation and history and take necessary actions to get yourself on track to live the life you actually want.
  • Foster intimacy with your spouse or partner by having tough, respectful conversations.

I know what it's like to love your partner more than life itself - and still have arguments about finances.

If you find yourself saying no one prepared me for navigating money and marriage, I want to change that for you.

It's not too late to learn, heal and grow so that you two experience your fairytale relationship.

It's Time To:

  • Talk openly about spending for your family and business
  • Collaborate on how to spend money on home improvement, vacations, and investments
  • Work through painful moments to prevent hurt and resentment

Now is the time for the two of you to actively work towards alignment between short-term and long-term financial goals

  • Take fun family vacations with your kids and pay for college education
  • Tackle the debt you have built up over the years
  • Have a clear financial plan that works for both of you
  • Take the more shame out of having debt or wealth
  • Support your extended family in a way that is meaningful for you.

Best of all now when you talk money you will fight right, stay calm, hear each other out, and won't goto bed angry.

I call this achieving "financial intimacy".

Rather than brushing money issues under the rug or blowing up when your partner spends differently than you would, you can navigate financial issues with grace, empathy, and understanding.

I Will Teach You How!

So if you're...

  • Not reaching your financial goals as quickly as you would like...
  • You're not getting to spend money on what you want...
  • You're disagreeing about how money is getting spent...
  • You're feeling undervalued and unappreciated...
  • And financial issues are bleeding into all areas of your relationship - including the bedroom.
